The institution has got its own spacious building at a pleasant sanitary place on the bank of river Mayurakshi. The college building comprises eight big classrooms and a seminar hall to accommodate students. The institution is fully equipped with all the facilities to learn Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Surgery, Materia Medica, Organon, Repertory etc. and other related subjects with special care & attention towards Homoeopathic Philosophy. There are Physiological, Pathological, Pharmaceutical Laboratories furnished with most modern apparatus & necessary instrument. Anatomy museum is full up innumerable visceras & specimens which are helped to undergo the practical knowledge & training. The Pharmacy Laboratory contains a lot of different herbs, roots, leaves, plants & charts, picture of plants used in Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia which has of enormous value and scope to the students PATHOLOGICAL LABORATORY contains models, charts, rare specimens etc. to acquire practical knowledge. The college has got its own well for equipped Library. The students are allowed to consult books at reading room.
The students are required to attend dissection classes regularly. The students are to attend bed-sides clinical classes in Indoor Hospital & Outdoor Hospital. The percentage of attendance are strictly followed in each & every case.
The student’s are being encouraged to practice different outdoor games & necessary sports materials are supplied to them. They are allowed to participate in different tournaments & our students have the credit to win over & obtain several trophies.
The Hospital buildings are three-storied. The indoor Hospital lies on the 1st Floor, consisting of 60 beds viz. General male & Female ward, surgical ward, obstetrical & gynecological ward. The patients are being treated by eminent physician, surgeon’s & Gynecologist. The visiting staff used to attend the hospital daily.
The outdoor section of the Hospital remain open daily. The M.O. In charge is attending every morning and making all possible assistance for giving aid to the patients of different types referred by the respective physician & departmental surgeons in Indoor Hospital for proper attention & care as & when required. The attached operation theatre is well equipped, the senior class students are availing of the chances & undergoes practice in surgical cases under the guidance of the surgeon concerned.
This institution comprises B.H.M.S. course of study spread over a period of 5.5 years (4.5 years + 1 year) including compulsory Internship of one year duration after passing the final B.H.M.S. Examination. The course and curriculum and syllabus is being followed as per C.C.H. regulation under the superior and guidance of The University of Health Science, Govt. of West Bengal.
